BACKGROUND
Emily Reed was born in Salem, MA, but her parents whisked her away at a young age to grow up in Chicago and Wisconsin. Eventually, she married the love of her life and brought three boys into the world who believed they never gave her a minute of worry.
She developed a home candy making business that became the talk of a sleepy town nestled among peaceful Wisconsin farmlands. The entire family worked at Christmas and Easter to stir, shape, cut, wrap, and box thousands of custom chocolates.
Emily’s readers discovered the cooking tricks she hid in her writing. It brought so much interest that it sparked the idea for ‘Alexx Hart’s Mother’s Magical Mystical Cookbook.’
She is presently writing two short story series that create complete novels.
The Alexx Hart books involve a struggling young witch with a history of power and spells that she has yet to master. She doesn’t want to put her past behind her, because the truth of her parent’s murders haven’t exposed itself. The elder Master Wizard, Seren, eventually prepares her for her magical future. Since she was thrown into the world after the killings of her thirteen grandmothers, nothing ever appeared real.
Alexx may not have blood on her hands, yet, but either she discovers how to use her tremendous powers soon or someone else will die. There is unexpected sabotage and minions of the evil Queen Zee that live to steal her spells and incantations.
The fifth short story marks the first full length novel in The Hunted series. Alexx Hart within The Hunted series books have all been best-sellers in their categories at Amazon.
Emily Reed now lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and her cat, Mystic, who curiously has something to say in an upcoming story.
